  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Mike Wolfe: My system was just installed in June, and Lumina Solar is the Go-To company. Very straightforward, they handled everything from permits to financing to installation. Courtney Sollenberger was very easy to work with, attentive to my needs and always got me answers in a timely manner. They've earned elite status, and their caring and professionalism shows it. Lumina Solar is one of the best, if not the best company to go with. I highly recommend them.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Wanda Mena: Ryan Cook and the Lumina Solar team were unmeasurably the best, in regards to their professionalism, knowledge, and execution of the installation of my solar panels. For someone who’s knowledge of solar panels and everything associated with it was at a bare minimum, by the time Ryan was done with his walk-through and proposal presentation, I was able to articulate the process to a few of my friends who were also interested, but didn’t understand the concept. I have made sure to inform them that if and when they’re ready to invest, their best bet will be Lumina Solar, with Ryan Cook at the lead. Thanks again Ryan!!
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Al Berner: Flawless process from meeting with project manager Christopher Richardson through the final inspection. System is running for 9 months producing electricity with no issues. Recommend Lumina Solar.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Richard Frey: From the very beginning until now after our system was installed our experience with Lumina Solar and Philip Jordan has been awesome. In the beginning we looked at a few different Solar companies. My wife and I thought that the presentation that Philip gave was the most informative and the best. Philip was only a call or text away for all the many (and by many I mean alot) of questions that we had and still have. Our system would have been installed about 2 months earlier if not for having to file for a varance for the township. Philip assisted us with all the paperwork and then even offered to help us with addressing about 50 envelopes to send out for the hearing. Once the permits were issued the process went quickly and smoothly. The panels (41 between the house and detached garage) were installed in only 2 days. My wife told me that Cameron and his crew were very professional. Cameron took his time and made sure to explain everything to her. After the install the inspection was only 2 days later and I signed the last form for PPL that Friday. The following Tuesday afternoon our system went active. It's been on for a week now and producing more then we are using so we will have some credit in the winter. Again the whole process with Lumina and Philip was a great experience. Ps. I just asked Philip another question today and as usual he was quick to respond.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Jesse Cromer: Our experience with Lumina Solar was top notch. Thanks in part to Sufi Noor our Project Manager. He made the entire experience incredibly smooth answering endless questions and concerns. Sufi is extremely responsive and well versed. Our system looks amazing thanks to the installation crews. The look is very clean, no wires or brackets showing. The installers, and electrician were on time day of installation and were very professional. Thank you Lumina!
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Nathan Teats: Peter Hayes and his team were fantastic. As I started the process he was knowledgeable, polite, and pressure free as I did my own research into solar power. Once I wanted to move forward the whole team from scheduling to installing, were great, professional and easy to work with. The electricians did a great job keeping things neat and out of the way. I had a great experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend to anyone looking into solar power. Good bye electric bill!!
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by John Collier: So far I have had a very positive experience with Lumina. A friend had done some research and sent me his top solar prospects, with Lumina as his #1. I called several companies and Lumina stood just above the others. The salesperson, Matt D, was knowledgeable and supportive without being pushy. The design process was all done over zoom, and everything was well explained. Once I was ready to commit, everything moved along smoothly and as expected. The installation was uneventful in a good way. The permitting took a while, but they had set my expectations for that, so it wasn't a surprise. Once the panels were up and running, the monitoring software is great, and Matt continues to support me as I have questions. My panels only came online in October of 2021, so my review may change if I get any curveballs in the future, but for now, everything has been wonderful!
  • Sun path variations throughout the year
  • Microclimates brought on by nearby structures and foliage
  • Optimum panel tilt and orientation to maximize energy capture
  • Combination with existing electrical systems

Anecdotally, a homeowner in Bucks County once believed a shaded backyard disagreed for solar. Lumina's group showed how tactical positioning on an eastern roofing system sector could still capture ample sunshine, turning skepticism into enjoyment.

Expert Tips for Solar Style Success

  1. Conduct a comprehensive website evaluation at various times of the day to recognize shading problems.
  2. Usage advanced simulation software application to anticipate energy output over seasons, not just bright days.
  3. Think about future tree growth or neighboring building and construction that might modify sunshine exposure.
  4. Style for simple growth, allowing for extra panels as energy needs grow.
