Solar Panel System Design Assessment

Envision standing on your roofing on a crisp Montgomery County Pennsylvania morning, sunlight spilling over the horizon, and questioning, " How can I catch this energy most efficiently?" That's where a solar panel system design assessment transforms from a mundane consultation into a critical minute of discovery. It's not practically slapping panels on a roofing system; it's about crafting a customized energy solution that dances with your home's special characteristics.

The Art and Science of Tailored Solar Styles

Every home in Montgomery County Pennsylvania is a solar story waiting to be informed. The assessment dives deep into aspects like:

  • Roofing orientation and pitch-- Is your roofing a sun magnet or a shadow haven?
  • Shading patterns-- Trees or neighboring buildings might play spoiler.
  • Energy consumption habits-- Night owl or early bird, your usage shapes the system.
  • Future growth possibilities-- Planning for tomorrow's power requires today.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Terence Thompson: We have had our 31 solar panel system for slightly less than 2 year. We have generated 30.6 MKW so far. Lumina has been great to work with and offer stellar service and solar products. We have enjoyed great savings on our electric bill and are paying the minimum line charge for 7 months out of the year. Our sales agent was Jack Wood and we loved working with him. He was patient in explaining all the details for the solar system for our house. We plan on going back to Lumina in a couple of. years to buy a battery for our solar panels.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Wooly Meadow: Chris Richardson was excellent to work with. If I had questions, he always got back to me in a timely manner. He led us to a ground mounted system with 42 panels that seems to be working great so far and was more efficient than a roof mount. The team that came out to install did a great job. We did have one panel that stopped working properly. They fixed it but it took a little while. So far our system has met our energy needs, but we are awaiting the winter months to see if it will meet our needs for heat and electric.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Dan Rodriguez: Lumina Solar was absolutely great to work with and we are glad we did. Our rep laid everything out and walked us through every step. It was a smooth process and we are very happy with our system.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Peter Miller: I highly recommend Lumina Solar. Our rep, Alex, was knowledgeable and easy to work with. He provided us relevant, specific information and financial numbers to make our decision easy. The install team was efficient and courteous. The whole process was low stress and went smoothly. So happy to have our array installed and taking advantage of these sunny days
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Jason Quattro: I had researched solar for a couple of years before finally deciding to pull the trigger. I talked to quite a few installers and got a ton of different options on panels, wattages, inverters, pricing, financing and warranties. What I really like about lumina is they do everything in house and nothing is subcontracted out. The entire process with them from start to finish was smooth and professional. They have excellent prices, use top rated panels (I chose the REC 405 watt panels) and the best warranty (30 years). I got 25 year financing and pay much less than my electric bill was. Lumina was very organized and professional every step of the way. The install was very clean and I liked how they ran the wiring through the attic and down the house tucked against the gutter so you can barely see it. Peter Hayes was fantastic and even came out to my house on the day the install was completed to check up on everything. I installed a “sense” system (one of the best purchases I have made) so I can monitor real-time consumption and production. During my first month I sent over 1100 kWh back to Peco (after factoring in consumption) and that’s with charging an electric car. The system also performed great over the rest of the year and the winter. I have banked enough kWh during the spring/summer to draw from during the lower solar production months. Now that a year has passed I am happy to report that I have produced a good bit more than I consumed so Peco will send me a check for the excess energy! If you are on the fence about solar reach out to Lumina… you will be glad you did!
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Rudy Ray: I have to say i was a bit reluctant at first but as the representative showed us the layout and explained process goes from start to finish, I was sold. Charlie Keyser, done a very good job of explaining everything, answered every concern in detail. The installation Team were just amazing, polite, knowledgeable and completed the work in a timely fashion, they were impressive and our installation included charging point for Tesla...all i can say is these guys are impressive. Also, Stephanie, Deitelbaum, scheduled the installation before and throughout...just impressive. All i can say is great representatives and support teams makes a great company. Thanks to them all!
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Dan Delaney: We had a great experience getting a home solar and battery system with Lumina. Our consultant Peter Hayes did a great job walking us through all the options and helping us select the right system. We appreciated that they didn't put any pressure on us and made sure we understood everything. The permitting and install process was smooth and they kept us informed throughout. Very happy with the result!
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by melissa olsen: We reached out to multiple companies about installing a rather large system on our property. Not only was Lumina competitively priced they offered the best warranty. From the first interaction with our sales rep (Phillip Jordan) we knew we were in good hands. He has consistently gone above and beyond for us (even after our installation was complete) and I cannot recommend working with him enough. There were a few hiccups in communication throughout the process but Phillip (and Lumina) were quick to resolve everything. Everyone who worked on our project at our home treated it like their own home. They knew a clean install was important to us, and the final result shows it. You can't ask for much more out of any contractor. We are extremely pleased with not only the system, but their service from start to finish, and cannot recommend them enough. In the event we need to add onto our current system, we will be reaching out to them again.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by DC-Mike Schen: Lumina Solar, my Project/Sales Manager Matt, and their installation/office team came through nearly perfectly for all aspects of my recent rooftop residential solar installation. First and foremost Matt was a great pleasure to work with and was on top of the project at all times. He is very competent and responsive! Their installation team did a great job and I have not had any concerns since. Be sure to thank them Matt! Their office team seemed to be the ones where I felt there were too many different people engaged as a result of how they segment responsibilities. A single office POC would have been preferred and ran more smoothly I think. Be prepared also because for me, from start to finish, this project took four plus months to complete, and would have likely taken longer if I had not keep up pressure on the office team…. Now, let the sun shine in!
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by John McGreevey: I was absolutely delighted with our Lumina Solar experience here in Pennsylvania. Matt Dier was our guide throughout the entire process and he was knowledgeable, dependable, attentive to all details, and responsive to my many rounds of questions. I appreciated his customer focus. He provided us a range of options for our house and worked with us to determine the best solar arrangement for our particular situation. Once we agreed upon a plan, he helped us understand what to expect at every stage, from payment and financing to installation to SRECs. When I had a question about one aspect of our solar installation on the day the panels were being installed, Matt looked into the question immediately, got back to me right away, and fully explained that aspect of the installation. The installation team too, described what they were doing and took time to educate us about the system configuration. It is such a pleasure to interact with professionals like Matt Dier and a top-notch company like Lumina Solar and I give them my highest recommendation!
